˙⋆✮ Puppet Construction ✮⋆˙

To begin the puppet, a form was made of foil for the patterning, which was done with a tape wrap transferred onto paper. The fabric, both orange wool and white sherpa, was cut and stitched together, and finally stuffed with Polyfil. Once secure, a felt piece was added to the bottom with lining for a hand, and rods were attached to each limb with snaps. Felt was used to create the patches and attached with embroidery. Each seam was embroidered over, and a painted button and pink bow were added for the finishing touches.
