Macbeth Hat

Creating a headpiece inspired by Lady Macbeth

Hat Construction

This hat was based on Lady Macbeth from Macbeth, from Worbla, 3D printing, paint, cardboard, buckram, fabric, and gemstones. The sword was 3D printed and painted, and the heart was made from cardboard covered in gemstones. The hat base is a buckram pillbox covered in white satin, with a gold painted Worbla crown surrounding it. Gemstones were then added to the crown at different points. The hat is meant to symbolize corrupted innocence and betrayal of one’s own morals, following the arc of Lady Macbeth.
