˙⋆✮ Armor Construction ✮⋆˙

The armor breastplate is based on elven armor from The Lord of the Rings, specifically inspired by mithral, and the light silver palette. To begin, a pattern was created on paper and translated to 5mm EVA foam, which was then cut and glued together with barge. After drying, the foam was covered in pieces of metallic silver fabric in curvable pieces, attached with spray adhesive. A complementary fabric was used to make slightly raised accent pieces, and the seams were decorated with silver cording and trim. Lastly, a lace up back was added for optimal fit.
